Job Title: Experienced Litigator

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a seasoned and skilled litigator to handle complex and high-stakes litigation matters.
• The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success in litigation, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Litigation Management:

• Manage and conduct complex litigation matters, including high-stakes disputes and appeals.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.

Advocacy and Court Appearances:

• Represent clients in court, tribunals, and other dispute resolution forums.
• Demonstrate exceptional advocacy skills, including the ability to present complex arguments and evidence effectively.

Client Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely and effective communication.
• Ensure that clients are informed and involved throughout the litigation process.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other lawyers, paralegals, and support staff to achieve common goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior lawyers and support staff.

Business Development:

• Contribute to the growth and development of the litigation practice, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a reputable university.
• Qualification as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, with a strong track record of success.
• Experience in handling complex and high-stakes litigation matters, including appeals.

Skills:

• Excellent advocacy and litigation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
