Job Title: Experienced Solicitor

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled and experienced solicitor to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.
• The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success in advising clients on a range of legal matters, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Legal Advisory Services:

• Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of matters, including corporate law, commercial law, property law, and dispute resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide informed advice to clients.

Transactional Work:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Advise clients on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate finance.

Client Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely and effective communication.
• Ensure that clients are informed and involved throughout the legal process.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other lawyers, paralegals, and support staff to achieve common goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior lawyers and support staff.

Business Development:

• Contribute to the growth and development of the law firm, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a reputable university.
• Qualification as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience as a solicitor, with a strong track record of success.
• Experience in advising clients on a range of legal matters, including corporate law, commercial law, property law, and dispute resolution.

Skills:

• Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
