Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will ensure the facility remains functional, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Manage building maintenance, repairs, and overall upkeep of the premises.
• Supervise staff, including maintenance workers, cleaners, and contractors.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Oversee utilities and ensure efficient energy usage.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and address any identified issues.
• Coordinate renovations, refurbishments, and space management.
• Manage budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors.
• Handle emergency situations and respond to facility-related crises.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management or a similar role.
• Certification in facility management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using facility management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
