Summary

• Our client is seeking for an EDI specialist who will develop, coordinate, implement, and communicate the organization's Internet-based strategies and initiatives for legacy Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.
• This individual is responsible for ensuring that EDI-related production and procedures are maintained and properly executed, including development, change requests, and enterprise integration projects.
• The EDI Specialist will also act as liaison between end users and the IT staff implementing EDI-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing business systems, networking configurations, and data storage facilities.
• Building customized data interchange systems for cross-company or department use.
• Testing and debugging the system.
• Gathering user feedback on the accuracy, efficiency, and functionality of the system.
• Adjusting and customizing the system based on user feedback.
• Deploying completed systems and providing maintenance support.
• Training end-users on the proper use of the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 years experience as an EDI specialist
• Proven experience working with ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Experience with system integration and data migration.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining reports using tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, or similar.
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for portal modifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with API integrations.
• Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of software design and architecture principals.
• Ability to project manage and work with large teams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with end-user training.

Salary
N400,000 monthly.
