We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Haulage Driver (Interstate)

Job Summary

• We are seeking experienced and reliable haulage drivers to join our team for interstate operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition.

Key Responsibilities
Driving & Delivery:

• Operate a 5-tonne truck to transport goods across various states.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Plan routes effectively to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good condition.
• Report any mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance team.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the truck.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Complete and submit trip reports, including mileage and fuel consumption.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures at delivery points.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and company safety policies.
• Avoid accidents and ensure the security of goods during transportation.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proven experience driving a 5-tonne truck, preferably for interstate trips.
• Strong knowledge of interstate routes and road safety regulations.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Fixed Salary: N120,000 per month.
• Daily Allowance: N7,000 for each day spent on a trip.

Monthly Incentives:

• Minimum Trip Target: N80,000
• Trips: N40,000
• Additional trips (5-10): N8,000 per trip.
• Accident-Free Trips: N50,000 per month.
• No Vehicle Damage Incentive: N50,000 for every 10 trips within 60 days, subject to inspection.
• Driver of the Month Award: N40,000 for exceptional performance and conduct.
