Beaumont woods and furniture is a furniture manufacturing company based in Lekki area of Lagos State, we handle woodwork,furniture installation,upholstery and general interior and exterior works.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Interior Architect

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Interior architects specialize in designing and building interiors for safety, functionality and aesthetics. It is important that interior architects not only understand the durability and strength of building materials, but also be skilled in the use of light, color and textures in a space.
• Create moodboards and 3D renderings.
• Sketch design plans,including electrical and partition layouts,specify materials and furnishings,such as lighting,furnitures,wall finishes,floorings and plumbing fixtures.
• Create timeline for design projects and estimate project costs.
• Conduct site visits,inspections and quality checks .
• Draft plans to create or refinish spaces in private homes or commercial buildings with ourclients' tastes in mind.
• Each job may require interaction with different clients, additional architects or designers, construction teams and inspectors.
• In creating plans for a space, take into account interior construction, lighting and furnishings.
• You must also be aware of federal, state and local building regulations so ourdesigns are up-to-code.
• You would be part of the building or remodeling process from beginning to end.
• Meeting with the client to discuss the expectations for the project. At these initial meetings, it is yourjob to listen to the wants and needs of the client and make building suggestions.
• drafts design plans. These plans may show placement of walls, windows, doors, plumbing, electrical systems, ventilation, structural accents and possibly furnishings.
• You would be expected to use computer drafting programs, such as computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and building information modeling (BIM), for this step.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess at least a BSC / HND or a Master's Degree qualification.
• 5 years experience minimum.
• Must be able to use 3D Max,3D CAD, and strong presentation graphics, both hand drawing and computer as well as Photoshop presentations.
• Practical knowledge about elements and principles of interior design.
• Creative with color themes and mood boards
• Artistic, imaginative and detail-oriented.
• Project planning and follow-through.
• Very good with 3d rendering.
• Job site experience including measuring and producing as built in documents.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
