Job Summary

• We are seeking for a skilled and visionary Baker/Chef who will take the helm of our baking operations.This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to shape the future of Elliom Bakery.
• You'll manage the entire baking process, ensuring every product meets our high standards of quality and taste.
• With our eyes set on broadening our offerings, your creativity and expertise will be crucial as we venture into new culinary territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Daily Baking Operations: Lead the preparation of bread from mixing ingredients to baking, ensuring consistency and excellence in every batch.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and food safety, ensuring compliance with all health regulations.
• Innovate and Develop New Products: Collaborate on creating new recipes and products, especially as we plan to introduce pastries and other baked goods.
• Inventory Management: Monitor ingredients and supplies, manage orders, and minimize waste through efficient stock control.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise baking staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all baking equipment is well-maintained and operational, arranging repairs and replacements as needed.
• Customer Engagement: Gather feedback directly from customers to refine and enhance our products.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination).
• Experience: Proven experience as a Baker or Chef, preferably in a professional bakery setting.
• Location: On site- Benin City compulsory

Skills and Abilities:

• Mastery of bread-baking techniques; experience with pastries is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

• Solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
