Job Description

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our baked goods to various locations.
• This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely Deliveries: Ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of baked goods to customers and retail locations.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery to minimize delays and fuel consumption.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload baked goods, ensuring they are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, customer feedback, and any issues encountered.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a safe driving experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination).
• Experience: Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a bakery or food delivery setting.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Location Requirement:

• Candidates must reside in Benin City, its environs, or be willing to relocate.
