Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales and Marketing to drive sales and increase company revenue and subsequently define data-driven actions and strategies in order to consistently optimise the business’s commercial performance.
• The Head of Sales and Marketing is expected to plan, develop, and execute the company's marketing and sales strategy as well as advertising initiatives and strategy.
• The role also includes sales and customer service management.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing Strategy: Planning, development and execution of marketing and distribution strategy that aligns with organisational goals
• Driving new business revenue and managing the renewal of existing business through developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Participate in the design, development and launch of new product offerings based on customer requirements.
• Sales and customer service management and delivering on the Company’s overall revenue targets.
• Define and communicate annual goals, perform formal and informal performance reviews, and ensure changes and updates are communicated in a timely and professional manner
• Effective allocation and deployment of all Sales assets assigned to the Region to ensure optimal utilisation
• Conducts performance evaluations of team members timely and constructive.
• Mentor, manage and train sales and product professionals on a team
• Reporting & Documentation of all sales activities to ensure timely and accurate decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with extensive professional experience, a Master's in Business Administration with a focus in marketing or an MBA with a concentration in Marketing.
• 10-15 years experience in Sales & Marketing preferably from FMCG as a Head of Sales or equivalent senior marketing leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing, managing and executing a wide range of marketing programs/campaigns across B2B and B2C verticals.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, mentor and develop marketing professionals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems and analytical platforms.
