Job Title: Customer Service Agent - Loan Recovery

Location: Oregun, Ikeja - Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an outgoing, organized, and friendly Customer Service Agent to join our growing team and provide top-notch service to our customers over the phone, via Whatsapp, Online via Laptop and ensure they pay back their Loans taken from the Company over time .
• In this role, you will interact directly with our customers to recover the Loans given to them over time, negotiate with them and agree for their loans to be paid back, follow up regularly on our customers, and maintain our company’s reputation for high-quality service of loan recovery, meet your Target and ensure you do your Job diligently too .

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identifying and tracking debts: Identifying and tracking outstanding debts, including written-off loans and overdue loans
• Planning recovery: Creating a plan of action to recover outstanding payments
• Contacting debtors: Contacting debtors to inquire about their payment status and to negotiate payment plans
• Building relationships: Building trust relationships with debtors to avoid future issues
• Updating records: Updating account status and databases regularly
• Alerting superiors: Alerting superiors when debtors are unable or unwilling to pay
• Complying with legal requirements: Complying with legal requirements when necessary
• Working with others: Working with loan officers and branch managers to execute recovery strategies
• Analyzing information: Analyzing loan applications, credit data, and financial information to assess loan security and credit risk
• Preparing reports: Preparing accurate and timely collection reports

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years’ of experience in a customer service-related role
• Positive, service-oriented attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
• Basic computer skills and excellent phone disposition
• Willingness to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to foster and maintain relationships
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once.

Salary
N50,000 - N80,000 / Month.
