NoemDek Limited is an EPC Company incorporated in Nigeria in 2012, to provide specialized services to the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, FMCGs, etc. Over the past five years, the firm and its international partners have supported clients on large infrastructure projects and after-sales services to ensure the assets are maintained effectively and a client’s operations run smoothly.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical / Electrical Engineer (COREN Certified)

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Job type: Full time

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or Robotics & Automation (required).
• COREN Certification (mandatory).
• NSE Certification (required).

Experience and Key Competencies:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in the Controls and Automation Industry.
• Hands-on experience with robotic systems such as ABB, FANUC, or KUKA.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or robotic-specific languages (e.g., RAPID, FANUC).
• Familiarity with systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
• Programming expertise with devices like PLCs and HMIs (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron).
• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Omron).
• Knowledge of barcode scanners and printers (e.g., Zebra, Keyence, Cognex, Honeywell).
• Understanding and use of smart sensors (e.g., IO link devices, IFM, Balluff).

Key Knowledge Areas:

• Strong foundation in Electrical Code and Electrical Circuits.
• Knowledge of custom machine building and processes, including welding, assembly, vision systems, lasers, etc.
• Mechanical, Electrical, and Robotic Integration skills.
• Precision in coding, calibration, and testing.
• Troubleshooting and optimization of control systems.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards.

Soft Skills and Other Requirements:

• Ability to collaborate with and train others effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
• Valid passport with willingness and ability to travel locally and nationally.

Preferred Experience:

• 4+ years in Controls / Robotics Engineering.
