Job Description

• The Research Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing market trends, conducting in-depth research, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
• This position focuses on data collection, policy analysis, industry forecasts, and emerging trends.

Key Responsibilities
Research and Data Analysis:

• Conduct comprehensive research on energy markets, including CNG Conversion Projects, renewables, Ad-Hoc Energy Services, and energy policies.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret energy data (e.g., production, consumption, pricing trends).
• Develop energy sector forecasts and identify growth opportunities, risks, and challenges.
• Monitor geopolitical and economic trends impacting the energy sector.

Report Preparation:

• Prepare detailed research reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Summarize complex data and research findings into clear, actionable insights for decision-makers.
• Generate industry briefs, market outlook reports, and policy impact assessments.

Industry Monitoring:

• Track emerging trends and technologies in the energy sector, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
• Stay up to date with regulatory changes, government policies, and global energy agreements.
• Analyze the competitive landscape, including market players and innovations.

Support Strategic Decision-Making:

• Assist leadership teams with actionable insights for strategy development and project planning.
• Provide input for investment decisions, risk management, and project feasibility studies.
• Contribute to research for energy-related business proposals, tenders, and partnerships.

Data Visualization and Tools:

• Use advanced data analysis tools and visualization software to present findings.
• Develop models and dashboards to track KPIs, energy usage, and market performance metrics.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Energy Studies, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 years of experience, preferably within the energy sector, consulting, or related industries.
• Proven experience in conducting market research, data analysis, and energy modeling.
• Knowledge of energy markets, renewable technologies, and sustainability practices.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze large datasets and complex information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Understanding of oil & gas, renewable energy, power systems, and global energy markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and reporting software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience managing relationships with local and international stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
