Job Title: Gym and Swimming Pool Instructor

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gym and Swimming Pool Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective instruction to members and guests in both the gym and swimming pool areas.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for fitness and swimming, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Key Responsibilities
Gym Instruction:
Group Fitness Classes:

• Teach group fitness classes, such as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, or strength training.
• Design and implement engaging and challenging workout routines.

Personal Training:

• Provide one-on-one personal training sessions to members.
• Create customized fitness plans to meet individual goals and needs.

Gym Floor Supervision:

• Monitor and supervise gym floor activities to ensure safety and proper equipment use.

Swimming Pool Instruction:
Swimming Lessons:

• Teach swimming lessons to members and guests of all ages and skill levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet individual needs and goals.

Water Fitness Classes:

• Teach water fitness classes, such as aqua aerobics or water yoga.
• Design and implement engaging and challenging workout routines.

Pool Safety and Supervision:

• Monitor and supervise pool activities to ensure safety and proper use of facilities.

Additional Responsibilities
Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
• Respond to questions, concerns, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.

Safety and Emergency Response:

• Respond to emergencies and incidents in both the gym and pool areas.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed.

Maintenance and Cleanliness:

• Maintain a clean and safe environment in both the gym and pool areas.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to management.

Requirements
Certifications:

• Fitness certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, or NSCA).
• Swimming instruction certification (e.g., Red Cross or YMCA).
• CPR/AED and first aid certification.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainer.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a swimming instructor.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Strong knowledge of fitness and swimming principles.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Working Conditions:

• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exposure to loud noises, chemicals, or extreme temperatures.
• May work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Salary
N80,000 Monthly.
