Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with our fleet of tippers.
• The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with tippers, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct inspections and testing to identify potential issues before they become major problems
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure vehicles are running safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to share knowledge and best practices
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections
• Ensure all work is done to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification
• 5+ years of experience as a mechanic, preferably working on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy tools and equipment
• Valid driver's license.
