Description

• With the rising fuel prices, this is the perfect opportunity for the right candidate. This is a full-time remote and contract position with the possibility of a future full-time employment.
• The Video Editor will be responsible for video formatting, video editing, video content, motion graphics, and graphic design on a day-to-day basis.

Who we are looking for

• A talented and experienced Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio of projects, and a deep understanding of performance-driven video editing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the planning and production of video content, managing all aspects of post-production to deliver high-quality results.
• Engage in creative brainstorming to generate unique content ideas and effectively bring them to life.
• Lead the post-production process from initial edit to final delivery, including cutting footage, adding music and sound effects colour grading, and implementing motion graphics.
• Use sound transitions, captions, and other advanced editing techniques to enhance storytelling and viewer retention.
• Utilize AI tools for generating voice-overs and integrating them into video projects where needed.
• Create and maintain assets library for use across different projects.
• Design video layouts and effects, ensuring that the finished products meet our high standards and resonate with our audience.
• Ensure all video content is produced within deadlines and meets our quality standards.
• Export video projects in required formats and resolutions, ensuring they meet quality standards before final submission.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3-7 years experience.
• Strong creative planning abilities.
• Expertise in video content creation, from ideation to execution, including editing, motion graphics, color grading, and sound design.
• Clear, logical thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of professionalism and teamwork.
• Experience working with graphic designers to create engaging videos from layout to animation
• Graphic design experience is a plus.

Skills:

• Experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and DaVinci Resolve. Other software's may be acceptable.
• 3D animation for motion graphics using Blender and or Cinema 4D is a huge plus. Other software's may be acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of video platforms (YouTube, Vimeo) and solid knowledge about compression, codecs and render best practices.

Salary
N250,000 - N400,000 / Month.
