Role Overview

• The Motion Graphic and Video Editor will be responsible for creating visually engaging motion graphics and editing videos that effectively communicate our brand message and enhance our marketing efforts. This role requires a creative individual with strong technical skills and a passion for visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
Motion Graphics Creation:

• Develop a minimum of 5 high-quality motion graphic designs per month that align with marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute visually appealing graphics that enhance our messaging.

Video Editing:

• Edit and produce a minimum of 2 engaging videos per month, including promotional videos, tutorials, and customer testimonials.
• Ensure all video content is polished, professional, and consistent with our brand identity.

Story boarding and Concept Development:

• Work with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop storyboards for motion graphic and video projects.
• Translate ideas into compelling visual narratives that resonate with our target audience.

Post-Production:

• Handle all aspects of post-production, including color correction, sound design, and visual effects.
• Ensure final outputs meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
• Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve video and graphic content.

Trend Research:

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in motion graphics and video editing.
• Experiment with new techniques and tools to enhance the quality and creativity of our content.

Asset Management:

• Organize and maintain a library of motion graphics and video assets for easy access and future use.
• Ensure all files are properly archived and documented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film Production, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in motion graphics design and video editing, preferably in the fintech or technology sector.
• Proficiency in motion graphics and video editing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics and video editing skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
