We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supervisor (SIS)

Location: Warri, Delta

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the effective operation and safety compliance of the SIS across a range of industrial settings. Key responsibilities typically include:
• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of SIS in compliance with industry standards such as IEC 61511 (functional safety).
• Ensure that the safety systems are properly maintained and tested to function effectively in emergency situations.
• Ensure that the SIS meets both safety and regulatory standards, such as those outlined by OSHA, IEC, or local safety regulations.
• Oversee the risk analysis and management of safety instrumented systems, ensuring they mitigate identified hazards effectively.
• Supervise routine maintenance and troubleshooting of SIS to ensure reliability and prevent any system failures that could lead to safety incidents.
• Manage the calibration and testing of safety systems to verify their accuracy and functionality.

Requirements

• B.Eng. Control System Engineering
• Certifications in SIS, TUV
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in the same position
• Applicant must not be more than 40 years old
