SEND is a digital freight forwarder and customs broker for Africa. We manage the entire process of shipping freight by air and ocean, including customs clearance and supply chain finance -using software to provide quotes, document management, cost transparency and control across your supply chain.

Job Description

• We are currently seeking an Operations Associate to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of operational excellence.
• In this role, you will be an integral part of our operations department, responsible for supporting our logistics processes and ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and optimizing logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare and analyze reports regarding operational performance and suggest areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with vendors and clients to resolve any issues related to shipments and deliveries.
• Help manage documentation related to shipments, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on operational goals and performance metrics.
• Support the implementation of new operational processes and technologies to enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with logistics software is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
