We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Editorial Assistant

Location: Remote
Job type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Publish imported articles, create Facebook pictures and link posts for them, and share on the platform.
• Republish evergreen articles and create 6-8 picture posts for them to share on Facebook.
• Monitor and republish top posts on Facebook.
• Some other tasks as assigned by management (Whatsapp posting, etc)

‍Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Media or Communications;
• At least 2 year experience in the role of editor or CMS manager;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Impeccable literacy;
• Experience in using social media platforms and CMS (WordPress, others)
• A systematic approach to getting things done;
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle crises effectively;
• Knowledge of the Nigerian media landscape is highly desirable;
• Knowledge of Figma, Canva or some other editing software.
