Job Title: Housekeeper (Cleaner and Dry Cleaner)

Job Description

• The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel while managing laundry and garment care services.
• This dual role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are spotless and hygienic while handling the washing, drying, pressing, and folding of linens and guest clothing with attention to quality and detail.

Primary Responsibilities
General Cleaning:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and other public spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and replenish room amenities as needed.

Laundry and Dry cleaning:

• Collect, sort, and process linens, towels, and guest laundry according to fabric care instructions.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Remove stains and handle delicate fabrics with appropriate care.

Waste Management and Supply monitoring:

• Empty trash bins and manage recycling in compliance with hotel guidelines.
• Monitor cleaning and laundry supplies, requesting restocks as necessary.

Equipment maintenance:

• Maintain and clean cleaning and laundry equipment.
• Report any malfunctions or repairs needed.

Adherence to Health and safety:

• Follow hygiene and safety guidelines to maintain high sanitation levels.
• Comply with hotel policies and industry standards for handling chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

• Courses / Qualification: OND/SSCE
• Relevant Experience: 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role
• Required Age: 25-35 years.

Special Skills & Key Behavioural Competencies:

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, fabric care, and stain removal.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning products safely.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift laundry loads
• Must be resident in City of interest.
