Job Summary

• The Communications Officer will manage the client’s project communications needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s or organization’s social media communications.
• Contribute to the design and production of communication materials, ensure dissemination of communication outputs.
• Promote visibility of the organisation’s work, create, and manage communications tools for external and internal communication including web and social media platforms.
• Coordinate media briefings and engagements.
• Write, edit and distribute various types of content, including material for a website, press releases, marketing material and other types of content that take the message to the public.
• Prepare and manage the organization’s communication budget.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Master's Degree in Law, Communications, or Social Sciences, with at least 5 years' experience in communications.
• Excellent communications skills and fluency in written and spoken English
• Proficiency in basic graphic design and video production is highly desirable.
• Expertise in developing and implementing communications strategies
• Strong social and political consciousness
• Ability to compose engaging and accurate content
• Demonstrable understanding of civil society, media/advocacy work in the context of development.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and technical advocacy materials in simple language

Salary
N400,000 - N600,000 / Month.
