Job Title: IT Technician Intern

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are currently hiring a suitable candidate for the position of IT Technician Intern who will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications
• Assist in the testing of new or modified programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate
• Assist in the preparation of detailed specifications from which programs will be written
• Assist in the installation of new or modified hardware and software products
• Assist senior technicians in the resolution of technical problems
• Assist in the maintenance of current documentation on systems and programming languages
• Assist in providing training to new users of existing systems
• Assist in the development of project plans and timelines
• Assist in the coordination of work efforts among various departments within the company
• Assist in the preparation of reports on project status and progress

Qualifications

• B.sc or diploma, with 0-2 years experience
• Printer/laptop fixing experience a plus
• Basic understanding of computers and networks
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Certification as an IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
