Job Summary

• We seek a Factory Manager to oversee facility operations and manage a team of production employees.
• The successful candidate's responsibilities include implementing policies and monitoring output to meet production goals on time and within budget.
• This role also involves hiring and training new team members, performing maintenace of equipment as needed and ensuring compliance with safety standards to maintain a productive work environment.
• The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience and a Bachelor Degree and must have worked in a furniture production company /interior Design studio.
• Required skills for this position include knowledge of inventory management, quality control processes, in addition to exceptional interpersonal abilities, such as leadership and communication.

Responsibilities
A factory manager oversees the daily operations of a factory or manufacturing facility. Typically, they manage a team of employees, implement production processes and develop manufacturing budgets. Your responsibilities vary but include the following:

• Create work schedules, assign tasks and coordinate manufacturing activities
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions
• Allocate resources, such as equipment and personnel, to maintain production standards
• Estimate manufacturing costs and identify ways to reduce them
• Evaluate employees' performance and coach production teams
• Proper Quality Control to ensure finished goods meet quality standards.
• Monitor production output and adjust processes as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Provide training and resources to ensure production teams understand safety protocols.
• Review and audit production processes to identify strategies for improvement.
• Make decisions related to production, such as staffing and scheduling decisions.
• Prepare production reports for senior management.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
