Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Integration of data storage solutions.
• Write an efficient, transparent and well-documented code that meets industry regulations and standards.
• Work collaboratively with designers, stakeholders and product owners to define, design and implement new features in existing software solutions.
• Ensure proper adherence to privacy and security standards.
• Stay updated with the emerging technologies and trends in Node.js development.
• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
• Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
• Identify programming bottlenecks and bugs and find fixes.
• Optimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Ensure that the server-side code is properly interfacing with databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years' of proven experience as a Node.js developer.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and frameworks available for it.
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps principles.
• Strong portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating proficiency in Node.js and related technologies.
