Job Title: In-House Nanny

Location: Lagos (Residential)
Employment Type: Full-time (Live-In)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a caring, responsible, and highly-educated in-house nanny to provide exceptional childcare support.
• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of OND or ND qualification and a proven ability to teach children foundational literacy skills, such as reading.
• The nanny will reside in the home and provide a nurturing environment for the child, ensuring both academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
Childcare and Development:

• Provide attentive care to the child, including feeding, bathing, and dressing as required.
• Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times.
• Encourage positive habits and social behavior.

Educational Support:

• Teach the child to read and engage in other foundational educational activities.
• Create a structured learning routine, incorporating fun and interactive methods.
• Assist with age-appropriate developmental milestones.

Recreational Activities:

• Organize creative and educational play activities.
• Plan outdoor and indoor activities to promote physical and mental well-being.

Household Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child.
• Prepare nutritious meals/snacks as required.
• Ensure the child’s room, clothing, and toys are tidy and in good condition.

Communication and Reporting:

• Provide regular updates to parents on the child’s progress and activities.
• Address any concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of OND or ND in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience as a nanny, teacher, or caregiver is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong literacy skills with the ability to teach a child to read.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Other:

• Must be willing to reside in the home full-time.
• Must have a clean criminal record and be willing to undergo background checks.

Salary
N80,000 monthly.
