Redeemer's University is a private, faith-based University, owned by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). It was licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in January 2005. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Geology - Soft Rock)

Location: Ede, Osun
Faculty: Natural Sciences
Department: Physical Science
Specialisation: Petroleum Geology and Sedimentology

Requirements

• Applicants must possess BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Geology with specialization in soft rock from a reputable University.
• The candidate must show evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications indexed in ISI Web of Science or Scopus (in related field of studies), project design and monitoring, and administrative experience.
• Relevant Experience: Hands-on experience on the following would be an added advantage: Field work across different sedimentary basins in Nigeria; Sieve analysis and Thin section; and Vastness in sedimentary laboratory experiments.
