They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Ikotun, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and customers by monitoring activities, enforcing rules, and responding to security incidents.
• This role involves patrolling the property, managing access control, and maintaining a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
Access Control and Monitoring:

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry.
• Verify identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Observe security cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities.
• Patrol the property to identify and address security risks, such as unlocked doors or unauthorized activities.

Incident Response:

• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including theft, fire, or medical situations.
• Document and report all security incidents, breaches, and hazards to the Security Supervisor or management.
• Detain and report trespassers or individuals involved in illegal activities to law enforcement when necessary.

Rules and Policy Enforcement:

• Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and rules within the premises.
• Prevent unauthorized activities, such as loitering, vandalism, or theft.
• Ensure compliance with emergency evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergencies.

Safety and Prevention:

• Conduct routine inspections of the premises, including locks, windows, and equipment, to ensure everything is secure.
• Identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective measures to management.
• Assist in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.

Customer Service:

• Greet and assist employees, customers, and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Provide directions or information about the premises as needed.
• Handle security-related inquiries or complaints courteously and efficiently.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 2 years experience.
• Candidate must be resident of Ikotun area and its environs.
