We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Silo Operator, Premier Feed Mills

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary

• To ensure that all Silos equipment and machines are properly operated to achieve target and effective Production.

The Job

• Daily walkthrough/routine checks on the machines before carrying  and during operation.
• Control panel board to convey grains from in-take pit to the silo and from silo to bagging line for load-out/dispatch.
• Carefully observe the panel lights during operation for indication of malfunctioning of machines.
• Report, if any, malfunctioning of machines to mechanical technician for mechanical faults or electrical technician for electrical fault for onward repairs or replacement.
• Record quantity of grains received or dispatched with the customer information in the silo operation record book.
• Stamp and sign customer waybill and return same to account officer.
• Monitor the laborers during receiving of grains to check for compliance to safety, quality of grains received and report observations .
• Daily aeration of the grains in the silo according to set standard/quality assurance guideline and record the hours in our daily aeration record book.

Requirements

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
• Computer literacy would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience  in a similar role.

The Person Must:

• Have ability to identify micro ingredients.
• Be familiar with silo equipment and safety protocols.
• Have the willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
