Job Description

•  We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Blow Mold Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting blow molding machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blow molding machines for production by installing molds, adjusting machine settings, and verifying alignment and calibration.
• Operate machines to produce plastic parts, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with blow molding machines.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Replace and repair molds and machine components as needed.
• Monitor product quality by conducting visual and dimensional inspections during production.
• Adjust machine parameters to meet product specifications and ensure consistent output.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Report safety hazards, incidents, or non-compliance issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on ways to improve efficiency and quality.
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Assist in training new team members on blow molding processes and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Test Trade, ND, or HND.
• Proven experience as a Blow Mold Technician or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of blow molding processes.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in machine setup, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Basic knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
