Job Summary

• The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of factory operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, workforce management, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• This role involves ensuring efficient and cost-effective production while maintaining high-quality output and meeting organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities to meet targets and deadlines.
• Optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and minimize waste.
• Ensure all machinery and equipment are operating at peak performance.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce quality control processes to maintain product standards.
• Address production defects or issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Workforce Supervision:

• Lead, manage, and motivate factory staff, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
• Organize training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
• Develop and enforce workplace policies to ensure discipline and a positive work environment.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement measures to minimize risks.
• Promote a culture of safety and awareness among staff.

Inventory and Resource Management:

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.

Cost and Budget Control:

• Manage the factory budget, controlling costs while maintaining production efficiency.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare detailed reports on production, quality, and operational performance for senior management.
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory, and workforce performance.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 5 - 10 years experience.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
