Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and skilled Audio Engineer to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and operating audio systems for live events, broadcasts, and recordings.
• They will also be responsible for ensuring high-quality audio output and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilites
Technical Responsibilites:

• Design, install, and operate audio systems for live events, broadcasts, and recordings.
• Set up and operate audio equipment, including mixers, speakers, and microphones.
• Conduct sound checks to ensure high- quality audio output.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with audio equipment and resolve problems quickly.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of audio and video systems.
• Stay up-to-date with new audio technologies and techniques, and apply this knowledge to improve audio quality.
• Maintain and repair audio equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Creative Responsibilites:

• Work with producers, directors, and other stakeholders to understand audio requirements for events and productions.
• Create and implement audio designs that meet the creative vision of the production.
• Collaborate with musicians and performers to achieve the desired sound.
• Use audio effects and processing techniques to enhance the audio experience.

Safety Responsibilites:

• Ensure that all audio equipment is safely installed and operated.
• Follow safety protocols when working with electrical equipment.
• Identify and report any potential safety hazards.

Key Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an audio engineer in live events, broadcasts, or recordings.
• Proven track record of delivering high- quality audio output.
• Experience with digital audio workstations (DAWS) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
• Experience with live sound reinforcement for concerts, festivals, or corporate events.
• Familiarity with broadcast audio, including TV and radio.
• Experience with post-production audio, including film and television.
• Knowledge of audio restoration and noise reduction techniques.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of audio signal flow, acoustics, and psychoacoustics. 
• Familiarity with audio equipment, including mixers, speakers, microphones, and processing gear.
• Experience with audio networking protocols such as Dante, AVB, or MADI.
• Understanding of audio formats, including PCM, Dolby, and DTS.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 3. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills. 5. Ability to lift and move heavy audio equipment.

Nice to Have Certifications:

• Certified Audio Engineer (CAE) or Certified Sound Engineer (CSE).
• Experience with 3D audio, immersive audio, or object-based audio.
• Familiarity with virtual and augmented reality audio technologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
