Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Mowe - Ibafo, Ogun

Job Summary

• We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team in the manufacturing sector.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate financial, operational, and internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to the manufacturing environment.
• Analyze production and operational processes to detect inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Ensure inventory, assets, and financial records are accurately reported and safeguarded.
• Assist in fraud detection and prevention measures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Sc. in Accounting, HND, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in a manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of audit procedures, risk management, and internal control systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/auditing software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CIA) is an added advantage.
