Job Summary

• The Treasury Officer is responsible for managing a company's cash flow, overseeing banking relationships, and ensuring the organization has sufficient funds for operations by monitoring liquidity, making strategic investment decisions, and adhering to regulatory requirements, essentially safeguarding the financial health and stability of the company through effective cash management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Cash Flow Management
• Identifying and addressing potential cash flow issues.
• Analyzing investment opportunities to maximize returns while managing risk.
• Managing company investments in short-term and long-term instruments.
• Monitoring market trends and adjusting investment strategies accordingly.
• Negotiating terms with banks and maintaining positive relationships.
• Overseeing bank account management and reconciliation.
• Ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
• Identifying and mitigating potential financial risks associated with cash management and investments.
• Implementing internal controls and procedures to safeguard company funds.
• Monitoring market volatility and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Preparing regular financial reports on cash flow, investments, and banking activity.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Providing insights to senior management on the financial health of the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
• Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling
• Experience with treasury management systems and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Salary
N4,000,000 - N6,000,000 annually.
