Job Title: Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Description

• The Assistant Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse at OkecTech.
• This position will primarily focus on assisting the Warehouse Secretary with inventory management and stock control for their range of technology products.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Secretary in conducting regular stocktaking and inventory counts.
• Physically participate in the stocktaking process, ensuring accurate recording of quantities and item details.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Secretary to maintain accurate inventory records, both physical and electronic.
• Support the receiving and dispatching of goods, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
• Assist in the organization and arrangement of warehouse stock to optimize space utilization and accessibility.
• Contribute to the implementation and adherence to warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / FSLC or OND qualification
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills are essential for accurate record-keeping and stocktaking.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the specific inventory management systems and procedures used by the company.
