Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Supervisor to oversee our procurement activities.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing operations, negotiating with vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement, and maintaining inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize purchasing activities
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs, forecast demand and develop procurement plans.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate contract, terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and contractual agreements.
• Manage the purchase order process, ensuring accurate and timely purchase order creation, issuance and tracking.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procurement policies.
• Resolve supplier-related issues, including disputes, quality concerns, delivery delays, and payment discrepancies.
• Supervise the purchasing team and procurement processes to ensure efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years as Purchasing Supervisor
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and cost-reduction strategies.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
