We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Back-End Developer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Manage database schemas and perform query optimizations using Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Write efficient, clean, and reusable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.
• Implement authentication and authorization systems for web applications.
• Create technical documentation for APIs and workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience: Minimum - 3 years of professional experience with python (Django Rest framework).

Technical skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and Django/Django Rest Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience working with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of server-side logic, database operations, and deployment processes.
• Understanding of ORM (Object Relational Mapping) and database migrations.
• Basic knowledge of security best practices in backend development.

Additional skills (nice to have):

• Familiarity with Docker for containerization.
• Experience with Linux environments and VPS hosting setups (Nginx or Apache).
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
