Job Title: Power Plant Supervisor

Job Summary

• The role ensures the efficient and safe operation of plant equipment, compliance with regulations, and optimization of power generation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the power plant to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Oversee routine maintenance and repair work on power generation equipment, including turbines, generators, boilers, and auxiliary systems.
• Monitor plant performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Supervise plant personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• BSc. Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of power generation equipment and systems, including gas/steam turbines, boilers, and electrical distribution.
• Familiarity with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze operational data and implement efficiency improvements.
• Proficiency in using plant monitoring and control software.
