Summary

• The Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Expert will design and implement comprehensive systems to track project progress, evaluate outcomes, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• This role demands expertise in data analysis, impact assessment, and performance monitoring to deliver measurable results and support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust planning, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks to track project performance and outcomes.
• Design indicators and data collection tools to measure project success and assess its alignment with strategic objectives.
• Analyse project performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, impact assessments, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Ensure project alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and organisational goals.
• Foster stakeholder engagement by presenting evaluation findings and strategic insights to support evidence-based decision-making.
• Identify risks and recommend strategies to mitigate potential impacts on project outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with international standards and best practices in planning, monitoring, and evaluation.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Project Management, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluation roles, preferably in the development or consulting sectors.
• Proven ability to design and implement M&E systems, tools, and frameworks.
• Expertise in data analysis, visualisation, and impact assessment methodologies.
• Strong report-writing and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software for data tracking and reporting.
