Plaude is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing global trade and cross-border payments by integrating workflow automation, decentralized payments, and compliance solutions. As we scale, we are seeking a detail-oriented Finance, Accounting, and Reconciliation Officer to manage financial reporting, transaction reconciliations, and accounting functions.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Department: Full-Time, In-Person

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with our business clients.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for client engagement, revenue growth, and ensuring customer success by aligning Plaude’s solutions with their business needs.
  • This role requires a proactive approach to account management, problem-solving, and strategic partnership development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients, acting as the primary point of contact for their financial and operational needs.
  • Account Growth & Retention: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, driving revenue growth by positioning Plaude’s suite of financial solutions.
  • Customer Success: Ensure clients maximize the value of Plaude’s offerings, providing support, training, and insights to improve their financial operations.
  • Operational Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, compliance, and product development, to resolve client issues and enhance service delivery.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Monitor client accounts for compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, ensuring smooth financial operations.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy: Gather client feedback and market insights to inform product enhancements and strategic business decisions.
  • Financial Administration Support: Assist in facilitating administrative payments, audits, financial reporting, and other operational finance functions related to client accounts.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or business development, preferably within fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of global payments, financial services, or trade finance.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
  • High level of organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with CRM software, payment platforms, and financial management tools is a plus.

Salary Range
N300,000 - N500,000 / month.
