Nutri K Limited is a subsidiary of Nutriset Group which was established to provide technical support in the specialized manufacturing, commercialization and distribution process of ready to-use food for the treatment and prevention of malnutrition in Nigeria. With a population of nearly 180 million people, Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa. However, every year, over 500.000 children under the age of five years old die from malnutrition.

About 1.7million of Nigerian children suffer from severe acute malnutrition, and close to a third of the 10 million under 5 age children suffer from chronic malnutrition; NUTRIK LTD is dedicated to the fight against malnutrition in Nigeria. The company specialized in manufacturing nutritional food used for the care of children affected by malnutrition. NUTRIK supplies humanitarian and health programmes with high quality ready-to-use-therapeutic and supplementary food (RUTF, RUSF), as well as lipid-based nutrient supplements (LNS).

Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

• We are now looking for an A Warehouse Manager for its Production department to carry out its activities in Kano.

Overall Mission
General Objective:

• The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• He/she ensure warehouse operations comply with organizational standards, safety protocols, and Good Storage Practices, maintaining optimal inventory control and supporting business objectives.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch of goods, issuing of RM , receiving of FP & leak management activities
• Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources.
• Develop and implement procedures for inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment.
• Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct periodic evaluations.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic inventory audits.
• Ensure proper labelling and organization of inventory for easy access and traceability.
• Enforce compliance with safety standards and protocols to minimize workplace risks.
• Monitor proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials (if applicable).
• Conduct safety training and drills for warehouse staff
• Ensure adherence to Good Storage Practices (GSP) and company quality standards.
• Monitor proper storage conditions for goods, especially perishable and temperature-sensitive items
• Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline warehouse processes.
• Implement automation and digital tools to improve inventory management and reporting. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.

Requirements & Skills

• Education Degree - Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Work experience - Proven experience (5+ years) in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Language skills - English is essential.
• Computer skills - MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook

Other required skills:

• Knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software.
