Job Title: Junior Accountant

Locations: Lagos, Enugu & Sokoto
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• As our Junior Accountant you will be responsible in supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with Nigerian accounting standards.
• Support the finance team with the management of cash flow, including petty cash and disbursements.
• Maintain filing systems for financial documents and ensure they are easily accessible for reference.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company, including ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (entry-level candidates are welcome).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 net Monthly + HMO
