Job Title: Senior Retail Buyer

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement buying strategies to optimize product selection and drive sales performance.
• Conduct thorough market research to analyze consumer trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable product sourcing.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to align procurement decisions with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Retail Buyer or in a similar procurement role within the retail industry.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Deep knowledge of retail market trends, pricing strategies, and consumer behavior.
• Experience working with international suppliers and global sourcing strategies.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
