Animal Care Service Konsult Nigeria Limited is an agro-allied company specializing in livestock farming, feed milling, technical laboratory services, fisheries, and the marketing of health products. Dedicated to animal health and production, we strive to be the leading player in Nigeria’s livestock industry.

In our pursuit of growth, we have recently diversified through our subsidiary, Funtuna Ventures Limited. We are currently looking to recruit a suitably qualified candidate for the position below:

Job Title: Credit Controller

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Contact clients with overdue accounts via phone, email, or letters to arrange payment.
  • Negotiate repayment plans and establish schedules for debt recovery.
  • Follow up on missed payments to ensure timely resolution.
  • Review and update client account information to reflect payment status.
  • Record all communications and actions taken in the customer’s account history.
  • Recommend accounts for escalation or legal action if debts remain unpaid.
  • Address client queries or disputes regarding outstanding balances.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to resolve payment issues while adhering to company policies.
  • Maintain a professional and empathetic approach during interactions to preserve client relationships.
  • Ensure all collection activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit reports on collection efforts, outstanding debts, and recovery rates to management.
  • Organize and assist in weekly and monthly meetings with other internal business partners to communicate progress and challenges in collection.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or equivalent is typically required; additional training in finance or customer service is a plus.
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in collections, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency with collection software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle negotiations and address client concerns effectively.
  • Analytical thinking to resolve disputes and recommend repayment solutions.
  • Efficient time management to handle a large volume of accounts and meet deadlines.

Salary
N100,000 - N130,000 Monthly.
