Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Coating Inspector to join our team.
• The Coating Inspector will be primarily responsible for inspecting coatings and related materials for quality, adherence, and compliance with the company's standards and specifications.
• The successful candidate will ensure coatings meet project requirements and are completed correctly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of coatings and materials using appropriate equipment
• Ensure coatings meet the project requirements and adhere to company specifications
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing results
• Communicate inspection results to management and project team members
• Troubleshoot coatings-related issues and provide corrective actions
• Ensure safety guidelines and regulations are followed during inspections and testing procedures
• Collaborate with the team to optimize coatings processes and improve quality

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in coatings inspection
• Experience with coating systems such as epoxy, urethanes, and intumescent coatings
• Excellent knowledge of industry standards and specifications related to coatings
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in the use of coatings-related equipment such as thickness gauges, spectrophotometers, and salt spray testers.
