Job Summary

• As a Dental Nurse at our clinic, you'll play a crucial role in supporting dental procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental surgery department.
• You'll be responsible for assisting dentists during surgeries, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
• Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our dental services.

Responsibilities
Surgical Assistance:

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures, surgeries, and treatments.
• Prepare and arrange necessary instruments, equipment, and materials for surgeries.
• Ensure a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform regular maintenance on dental equipment and instruments.
• Identify and report any malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate personnel.
• Sterilize and organize instruments to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

Patient Care:

• Comfort and reassure patients before, during, and after dental procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assist in emergency situations.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of surgical procedures and patient information.
• Update and organize patient files in compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and dental staff for seamless patient care.
• Communicate effectively with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff.

Compliance:

• Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and guidelines.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated on advancements in dental surgery techniques and technologies.
• Attend relevant workshops, training sessions, and conferences.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Surgery Technician or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle high-pressure situations.
