Job Title: Marketing Officer - Commercial Bank

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Major Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase customer acquisition and retention.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the bank’s products and services.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including social media, advertising, and public relations.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare marketing reports and track performance metrics to measure success.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
• Organize and participate in corporate events, product launches, and customer engagement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Applicants must currently hold or must have previously occupied any of the following positions; Assistant Banking Officer, Banking Officer, Senior Banking Officer.
• Strong understanding of banking products, services, and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
