Location: Awoyaya, Lagos

Job  Description

• We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Account/Commercial Teacher to join our team.
• We're looking for an individual who can ignite students' interest in the world of finance and business. 
• We are specifically seeking candidates who reside within the Awoyaya, Ibeju Lekki, or Lakowe environs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons on accounting and commercial subjects (e.g., Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, etc.) to secondary school students.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for relevant examinations (e.g., WAEC, NECO, etc.).
• Create a supportive and encouraging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
• Participate in school events and activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching accounting and/or commercial subjects at the secondary school level.
• Strong subject matter knowledge and a passion for teaching.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must reside within the Awoyaya, Ibeju Lekki, or Lakowe environs.
