Job Title: Senior Social Media Executive

Location: Lagos

Role Overview

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Social Media Executive to lead our social media efforts. In this role, you will develop and execute strategic social media initiatives that elevate our brand, engage our B2B audience, and drive measurable results. 
• You will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing high-quality content across all social media channels while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our messaging is on-brand and impactful.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Flex Finance’s business objectives and brand voice.
• Plan, launch, and manage social media campaigns that boost brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.

Content Creation & Curation:

• Create and curate compelling, high-quality content tailored for platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Ensure content is optimized for each platform while maintaining a consistent brand narrative and tone.

Community Management:

• Actively engage with our online community by monitoring social media channels, responding to comments, and fostering positive interactions.
• Build and nurture relationships with influencers, industry experts, and partner organizations to expand our reach.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

• Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, follower growth, reach, and conversions) using analytics tools.
• Prepare regular reports on social media performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations to refine strategies.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with the Content, Marketing, and Design teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital channels.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives and product launches.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation:

• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, particularly within the fintech and B2B sectors.
• Continuously explore new social media platforms and innovative strategies to maintain Flex Finance’s competitive edge.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of driving engagement and growth in a B2B environment; experience in fintech or financial services is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with major social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy.
• Familiarity with content creation tools and graphic design basics is a plus.
