Job Title: Business Manager

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operations, increasing profitability, improving financial performance, and implementing strategies to elevate the brand globally. 
• This role requires a strong leader with expertise in business development, financial management, and operational efficiency within the event planning industry or a similar field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company’s market share and global reach.
• Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and opportunities to grow the business.
• Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
• Design and implement marketing and branding strategies to elevate Company’s global reputation.
• Set financial goals and ensure the company meets or exceeds revenue and profitability targets.
• Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to monitor performance.
• Optimize pricing strategies and operational costs for maximum profitability.
• Identify and manage funding opportunities, sponsorships, and partnerships.
• Streamline business processes to improve efficiency and ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
• Oversee the planning and execution of events to uphold the highest standards of quality.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.
• Set clear performance goals and ensure accountability across all team members.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture aligned with Company’s values.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile and corporate clients.
• Serve as the face of the company during negotiations, presentations, and events.
• Ensure consistent delivery of personalized and premium client experiences.
• Act as a key ambassador for the company, promoting its vision and excellence.
• Represent the company at global events, networking opportunities, and industry forums.

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
• Experience in scaling businesses to international markets.
• Established network within the event planning or luxury industries.
• Proven experience as a Business Manager or similar role, ideally in event planning or hospitality.
• Strong financial acumen with a track record of driving profitability and growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of global markets and trends in the events industry.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly + commission.
