Job Description

• As a Liaison Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will coordinate with our customers, suppliers and service center in Port Harcourt to ensure effective communication and execution of repair jobs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, internal partners, suppliers and 
• the service center, ensuring all communications are clear and concise. 
• Manage designated service center orders from inception to completion, ensuring they are 
• completed successfully and within quality guidelines. 
• Evaluate Requests for Quotation (RFQ) scopes and prepare job quotations.  
• Conduct contract reviews, ensuring compliance with company policies and terms and 
• conditions. 
• Update Work in Progress (WIP) reports and supervise ongoing cost actuals versus estimates. 
• Collaborate with Technical Specialists and the Quality Assurance manager to ensure jobs 
• meet quality standards.
• Prepare detailed shop instructions for inspection and repair scopes,  referencing all appropriate technical specifications and procedures. 
• Review invoices for accuracy before issuance and ensure overhaul reports are completed and 
• sent to clients promptly. 

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in a repair service role, with familiarity in turbo-machinery,  reciprocating and rotating equipment repairs. 
• Proven time management capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong customer interfacing skills and the ability to evaluate customer specifications and develop specific repair work scopes. 
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing projects and tasks. 
• Proficiency in English is required. 
• An educational background in mechanical engineering (B. Mech.). 
• Ability to travel locally to visit suppliers as needed.
